You own it

How working with me works, in plain English. If we stop working together, you keep everything and it keeps working.

Your accounts

  • Your domain, hosting, email, booking, payment and software accounts are opened in your business's name, with your email as the owner.
  • I work in them as a user you add. You can remove my access at any time.
  • Logins live in your password manager, never in my notes.

Your work

  • When a project is paid for, the website, content, designs, setups and written how-tos are yours to keep, change or take anywhere.
  • I keep my own general know-how, templates and tools, and you get a permanent right to use whatever of them is built into your setup.

Price and payment

  • Every setup has a written scope and a fixed price before work starts. No hourly surprises.
  • Half up front to start, the rest when it goes live.
  • Monthly plans bill at the start of each month.
  • Anything outside the scope gets a written quote first. Nothing extra happens without your OK.

Software costs

  • Tool subscriptions bill to you directly, at their price. I don't resell or mark them up.
  • I tell you every tool's cost before you sign up for it, and I use free tiers and tools you already pay for where they do the job.

Monthly plans

  • Month to month. Stop any time with 30 days' notice.
  • When you stop, you get a written handoff: what's set up, where each login lives, and how to run it.
  • I answer within one business day, and same day when something customer-facing is down.

AI and your data

  • AI drafts and sorts. A person, you or me, approves anything that goes to your customers, unless you decide a specific message should send on its own.
  • Your customer data stays in your accounts. It isn't sold, shared or used to train anyone's AI.
  • I use business AI tools that don't train on your data, and I tell you which ones touch your information.

If something breaks

  • For 30 days after launch, I fix anything that doesn't work as agreed at no charge.
  • After that, fixes are included in a monthly plan or quoted before I start.

Free previews

  • A website preview I send before we work together is a free concept. You owe nothing for it.
  • It's labeled as a concept, hidden from search engines, and takes no orders or information.
  • Ask and it comes down the same day. If I don't hear back, it comes down after 30 days.

The fine print

  • Each project gets a short written agreement and scope that you sign. If this page and the agreement ever differ, the agreement wins.
  • I'm not a lawyer or an accountant. When a setup touches legal or tax questions, I'll tell you to check with yours.
